Through its R&D activities, which remain invisible to costumers, AMO ICARE continuously develops its technical expertise and is therefore able to respond efficiently and offer customized solutions to any material or industrial issue.


Physico-chemical characterization

Equipped with its own physico-chemical analysis laboratory and supported by a network of carefully selected partners, AMO ICARE performs physico-chemical characterization of all types of materials, as well as environmental measurements.

Thanks to our mobile laboratory, we are also able to carry out a range of analyses directly at our customer’s sites, enabling us to provide rapid and efficient responses.

Research and Development

In order to better support our clients and partners, we conduct Research and Development (R&D) projects in the field of materials. These studies are designed to be applied to real-world cases that we encouter in the field.

We carry out feedbacks after each mission to identify relevant research topics. Our work focuses on emerging risks that could, in the future, expose us to industrial and construction issues that are still poorly understood. Indeed, whether to take advantage of specific properties or to comply with regulatory requirements, new materials are increasingly being used – yet the mechanisms related to their degradation are not always well understood.

New regulations also create evolving needs for the recycling and disposal of old products that have since been banned.

Failure analysis

AMO ICARE intervenes on behalf of its client to resolve technical issues related to material or equipement damage. We handle a wide range of challenges in higly technical and sensitive fields : asbestos, construction, nuclear, petrochemical…Exemples of missions completed to date include:
• Coatings: study of the delamination of an anti-corrosion coating on a pylon
• Metals: investigation into the origin of corrosion of an oil tank
• Concrete: identification of the causes of spalling on a structure
• Environmental pollution: management of an accidental spill in an industrial environment


Technical studies

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers and PhDs, is ready to assist you with technical studies based on written documentation or on real-life systems. These studies aim to provide clear and precise answers to our clients on complex topics. They can also support decision-making in the context of litigation.
